Donnie is the lead singer, rhythm guitarist and "Front Man" for Category IV. Donnie started playing guitar in 1982. A self-taught guitarist, he built his first two guitars himself. The King, Elvis Presley and pioneering rocker Jerry Lee Lewis, have both influenced Donnie. With a powerful stage presence that has been finely tuned over the years, Donnie leads Category IV with a tremendous set of pipes and an uncanny ability to write music. Donnie’s stage energy seems to go on and on with no real signs of letting up. Donnie also has a unique talent of being able to play just about any instrument that he puts his hands on but excels at guitar, bass, and get this… fiddle! With a half a dozen or so bands and hundreds of shows in his past, Donnie is always ready to entertain any crowd, anywhere, anytime.

 Jon is the bassist for Category IV. He got his first bass at a pawn shop many years ago and fell in love with it, teaching himself to play. Born in 1960 something, Jon loves the rock stuff. With visions of stardom, and a desire to live out his rock-n-roll fantasy, Jon set out to start a band. Not just any band, but a band that would be fantastic. Jon is an explosive bassist with an innate ability to deliver the bottom line sound for Category IV. Together with his drummer, they are a rock solid rhythm section. With his trademark sunglasses and "old school" 4 string, Jon is sure to have you rockin’ for many years to come. When people hear Category IV music, he wants everyone to "listen" to the singer and guitars but he wants fans to "feel" the bass.

 Dave is the drummer for Category IV. Dave is the veteren of the group having played since the mid 1970's and has been playing live since the early 1980's. Dave has played over 2000 live shows in a dozen or so bands. Dave also has the unique ability of being able to play just about anything he lays his hands on including guitar and piano but he excells at the drums. Dave's influences include Led Zepplin, Rush, Queensryche and Dream Theater. Dave uses Tama drums, pedals and hardware, Remo heads, Sabian cymbals and Vic Firth sticks.
